Luggage in the Dumpster - Follow-Up

Back on December 28, I wrote about lost luggage being found in a Houston dumpster. I didn't see it until today, but on Jan 2, USA Today reported that five employees of a baggage-handling contractor were arrested in the case. According to the article, the five men worked for Menzies Aviation Group. All told, 158 pieces of luggage were stolen: the 68 in the pet store dumpster, and an additional 90 that were recovered at two other locations. Apparently, all the bags had been rifled for valuables. Police were working with the various airlines involved to try to identify the bags' owners and figure out what had been stolen.
