Right-Wing Extremism in Law Enforcement, Pat IV

Another law enforcement officer has made it clear he is there "to protect and to serve" only white "christian" conservatards.

A cop (and I hope, soon-to-be-former cop) in Gretna, LA, one Charlie "Bubba" Rispoli, wrote on Facebook that "this vile idiot [Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,D-NY] needs a round." He went on to add, "[and] I don't mean the kind she used to serve," referring to AOC's prior bartending experience. Not that Bubba knows anything about bartending: he sounds more like a beer-anna-shot type of dude... a Lone Star (which tastes like what I would imiagine bison semen tastes like) and a shot of Jack.

Gretna Police Chief Arthur Lawson had this to say: "Whether you agree or disagree with the message of these elected officials and how frustrated you may or may not get, this certainly is not the type of thing that a public servant should be posting."

Just to further point out how amazing stupid -- and unsuited for a career requiring minimal knowledge -- Bubba he, he was referring to an article clearly martked as "SATIRE." I guess ole Bubba, who probably spent the four longest years of his life in third grade before dropping out to get a job, thought "Satire" was what came after "Flighty" on the calendar.

Like all the other conservatards, ole Bubba thunk Ocasio-Cortez, along with Reps Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) should "go back to where they came from." In saying that, by the way, trump and his barin-dead butt-buddies are openly and blatantly violating Federal anti-discrimination laws. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission -- AN AGENCY OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT -- SPECIFICALLY CITED "GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM" AS PROHIBITED DISCRIMINATORY SPEECH:

Ethnic slurs and other verbal or physical conduct because of nationality are illegal if they are severe or pervasive and create an intimidating, hostile or offensive working environment, interfere with work performance, or negatively affect job opportunities. Examples of potentially unlawful conduct include insults, taunting, or ethnic epithets, such as making fun of a person’s foreign accent or comments like, “Go back to where you came from, “ whether made by supervisors or by co-workers. 1

So once again, the Law-and-order party of law and order shows their collective ignorance of, and disdain for, the laws of the United States of America.

Of course, if the Goopers do manage to pass some sort of draconian anti-immigration bill and manage to force out Omar (she's the only one not born in the US), we could probably use the same law to get rid of Rafael Eduardo Hijo de Puta Cruz, immigration-hating immigrant and Canadian-born anchor baby spawn of cigar-sucking Cuban émigré, Castro supporter and Desi Arnaz wannabe Rafael Bienvenido Chinga tu Madre Cruz, who was born in Canada, which is not part of the United States. In fact, Canada has a large portion of the population who speak French, the language of France, which is also not part of the United States. Canada is also a socialist paradise, in that it has universal healthcare, which is creeping socialism. Plus, of course, Hijo de Puta Cruz’s father is from Cuba, which is not part of the United States, and has a population that almost exclusively speaks Spanish, the language of Spain, which is also not part of the United States, and is the language of Mexicans, Guatemalans, and Salvadorans. Cuba is a socialist paradise, ruled over by Fidel and Raul Castro (who did not make convertible beds, despite what they would have you think), both of whom are Godless Communist Commies. In addition, Hijo de Puta Cruz’s “padre” was an ardent supporter of the Castro boys, both of whom, as noted previously, are Godless Communist Commies. 

To get back to Bubba and his buddies, though, This is just one more case of what emergency services blogger Dave Statter refers to as SMACSS: Social Media Assisted Career Suicide Syndrome. I would hope that by exposing his intolerance and bigotry to one and all, ole Bubba "has done gived Chief Lawson a 'scuse to fahr his good ole boy dumb-ass se'f."

Conservatives normally insist that the private sector can do anything it chooses, even hiring and firing on the basis of an owner's throwback religious or racist beliefs. "Yup," he did not continue, "them nigras sure had it easy under slavery."

Some RWNJs started an on-line petition demanding Robertson's return:

 

"Homosexuals have their convictions and Christians respect them," the organizer of the petition wrote. "There is a difference between respecting someone rights to exercise free will and imposing on others what we believe. Phil has done nothing more than state what he believes in. Just because homosexuals do not agree, does not mean Mr. Robertson needs to be suspended."

 

This, of course, is pure horseshit. The fundies do NOT respect homosexuals - rather, they demonize the LGBT crowd, and demand the right to discriminate against them. Some, like Westboro Baptist, demand the right to kill gays and lesbians. Robertson -- Mr Understanding-All-God's-Chilluns himself -- condemns them to purgatory, and compares homosexuality to bestiality. That ain't exactly respecting their views.

Bible Spice, obviously, had to throw in her three cents (via Crooks & Liars):

Free speech is an endangered species. Those “intolerants” hatin’ and taking on the Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us.

As Amato points out, Palin only came out in favor of free speech when it was a RWNJ being criticized; muzzling a DFH librul is still okay, apparently.

All of which was nowhere, until a reporter helpfully asked him about those beliefs and Phil came out and proved that he is a racist redneck white trash anti-gay bigot. But thing is, he never claimed to be anything else. Hell, A&E *hired* him because of that, so that their metrosexual white urban oh-so-politically-correct viewership could point and laugh at him and his family of inbred white trash.

So now A&E is going to fire his ass for being the person they hired? Man, that’s fucked up. He needed to be sat down and told just how bad his words made gay people and black people feel, and told he needed to apologize. He might even have listened, and decided, yeah, he didn’t understand why they felt bad about what he said, but if they were offended he was in the wrong and the right thing to do was apologize. As far as I can tell Phil Robertson isn’t an evil man, just a profoundly ignorant one. Ignorant can be fixed, evil can’t. But fired? Maybe if there was evidence that he actively discriminated against gay people and black people, maybe. But for being who he is and holding the same views he’s always held? I suspect, though, that BT may be off a little bit on his explanation of why A&E picked up Duck Dynasty. I think, in addition to the reason Badtux suggests, I suspect it's also a bit of the current redneckization of American culture, as we have so many "reality" shows showcasing the redneck lifestyle: Duck Dynasty, Full Throttle Saloon, Lizard Lick Towing (I'd move outa there in a heartbeat!)... all shows that try to convince us that the redneck lifestyle is a valid one.  Unlike, say, being gay.

"If You've Got Nothing to Hide..."

One of the more conservative medical bloggers -- whom I will not link to because he's such a dyed-in-the-wool-right-wing whackjob (but also a helluva medic) -- was bitching about the TSA.

BillyJoeBobBubba "forgot" to remove live ammunition from his bags before heading to the airport to board a plane, and was complaining about the search that ensued.

This from one of those "If you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to worry about" types. It was HIS philosophical cronies, after all, who established the TSA (and the rest of DHS) and rammed it down our throats.

Apparently, the fact that they searched a white man instead of a scary brown Moozlum is, well... intolerable.

Got news for ya, Bubba: you're the ones screaming that everybody should be armed, so it makes sense that you're the ones who should pay the price when your gun mania gets you in hot water. You're the ones who say "security trumps everything else", including Fourth Amendment freedoms. You're the ones who demanded the PATRIOT Act. You're the ones who supported the establishment of the American version of the Gestapo. You're the ones who insisted -- screechingly -- that TSA damn near strip search everyone within 5 miles of an airplane.

You wanted it, BillyJoeBobBubba, and you got it. Now YOU get to live with it, too, just like the rest of us.

Ooooh, Surprise, Surprise, Surprise...

Fat little murderer Georgie "Porky" Zimmerman stiffed his attorneys!

Porky, who has managed to evade a murder conviction thanks to Florida's Make My Day Law, has since attracted even more attention from the po-po, including numerous traffic stops where he asks if the cop recognizes him from TV. Personally, if I were still a cop, I might be tempted to view that as a threat: "I've killed before and gotten away with it..."

Now, he's managed to get in trouble yet again. After showing up at the home of his estranged wife, Shellie "I've never met a dessert I didn't like" Zimmerman, with a gun, his attorney told the court that he would no longer represent the fat little turdball.

Because the fat little turdball has yet to pay his attorney.

This is despite his legal defense having pulled in more than $300,000 (as of January).

The money went for things like bail (which, having been returned upon his acquittal, should have gone back into the pot), private security (gun nut doesn't want to be approached by someone who may be...well, armed? ... and who might fear Porky? ... and who might shoot his pudgy little ass? ... and then claim he was "standing his ground'?), and -- last but certainly least -- almost $62,000 for eight months of living expenses. That means, for 12 months of living expenses, Quick-Draw Gonzalez would need about $93,000. Ninety-three thousand dollars. Burritos must be awfully expensive in his neck of the woods.

Now, all of those contributions to the Ruger Bandito came from fellow gun nuts, militia members, racists, and other typical redneck scum.

Be interesting to see what they do to Turdball when they finally figure out that HE SCREWED THEM ROYALLY.

US District Martin Feldman, who struck down the six-month ban on deep-water drilling, has investments in:

• Transocean Ltd, the owner of the Deepwater Horizon rig that exploded and sank;

• Parker Drilling, and.... wait for it...
• yup, Halliburton!

This is according to a story listing some of the details in Feldman's financial disclosure statement.

Another big surprise: Feldman was named to the bench by Reagan.

Yet another surprise: he ruled in favor of the oil industry.

Oh, and he hangs with his BFF, Nino Scalia.

Surprising news from the southern states. Not.

Part I: The Right to Bear Arms

As we all know, the South views the right to bear arms as THE most important aspect of life, bar none. Right behind that is the Southerner's hatred for any law and order that doesn't feature the Stars and Bars. Two "sovereign citizen" types, Jerry Kane and his 16-year-old son (probably named Bubba) shot and killed two police officers. Jerry and his equally dain-bread son tried to hide at a Wal-Mart (of course) and got cornered. They tried to shoot their way out again, but this time, the cops had some advance warning. Jerry and Bubba, dead in the lot at Wally World. At least they won't be locked up with "them niggras."

Part II: "Ah Hates Me Some Feds... Hey, Warshington, Ah needs Me Some He'p"

New Mexico and the "People's Republic of Arizona" -- two states that hate them some Feds cuz we got us a "niggra" President -- are all of a sudden asking for help from... the Feds. Obama (who seems intent on remaining bush-Dark) is sending some National Guard troops -- those who aren't in Iraq or Afghanistan, which means they're scraping the bottom of the barrel -- to help curb illegal immigration. Be interesting to see how many of the Guardsmen get jacked up by Joe Arpiao's "deppities" for being brown without a permit. The two states also want UAVs.

Part III: Family Values, Part Who Knows?

Family Values Rethuglican state rep Nikki Haley in South Carolina wants to be Governor. She should do an excellent job. Even without being elected, she's already displaying those "family values" so beloved by the rethugs. Yup, she was boffing some dude other than the one to whom she is married. And the dude she was screwing around with? A former aid to Governor Mark "Ah'm hikin' the Apple-lickin' trial with mah Brazilian twist" Sanford. Sanford's ex-wife and Sarah "Ah'm all for morality, which is why my daughter got knocked up without a husband" Palin both endorsed Haley.

Part IV: Westboro Baptist, Dallas Division

Forget "who shot JR", now the big question is "who ordained them gays and lesbians?" The Royal Lane Baptist Church ordained gay and lesbian deacons. The church had also been one of the first to accept blacks and ordain women. Of course, to the rest of the Baptist community (which obviously supports Westboro, since they haven't drummed them out) freaked out and have cast Royal Lane into the hellfire and brimstone for allowin' "them people" equal access to the church.

Part V: "What's Wrong With the KKK?"

A Georgia high school teacher was suspended after having four of her students (the entire student body, in other words) dress in KKK robes, allegedly for a "class project" (yeah, buddy, that's some classy project). The project, needless to say, was on racism... how to keep it alive, no doubt. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, in its coverage of the case, asks two questions: "Who has allowed students to dress as Klan members, Nazis or Salem witch burners?" and second, "Who cares?" The AJC is certainly standing firm in their support for the Stars and Bars. The reporter(?) writes: "I would argue that costumes are appropriate if dramatizations of real-life events enrich instruction and if the point is to show the true nature of these hateful acts. I understand how the sight of hooded students would upset classmates, but once the project was explained, I would think that their concerns would be allayed." Of course she'd blow a gasket if the students were dressed in Union blue.



Yessirree, these good ole boys sure are good Americans, aren't they?

Six months since my last post? My, how time flies when one is truly disgusted.

Part I - Obama, Son of bush?

First off, we have President Obama, who seems bent on becoming bush Dark. His administration -- campaign promises to the contrary notwithstanding -- has failed to do anything about Gitmo, has tried to support the bush junta's claims to "zeckative privalige" in dealing with secrecy, and has now proposed weakening -- they call it "adjusting" or "tweaking" -- the Miranda warnings, saying that alleged terrorists should be questioned without being informed of their Constitutionally-guaranteed rights. The last time this horrific idea popped up was during the regime of St Ronnie; back then, everyone -- even the police -- opposed weakening the Miranda ruling.

For those not old enough to remember 1966 (and who have never seen any of the ubiquitous cop shows on TV), the Miranda warnings are a recitation of Constitutional rights that a police officer must give a criminal suspect, under certain circumstances (not, as seen on TV, each and every time a cop arrests someone). The warnings were initially criticized by then-President Richard M Nixon (who certainly knew a bit about criminal behavior) as "handcuffing" the police. Research since then has shown, however, that the conviction rates actually increased post-Miranda, in that cops actually had to, you know, investigate and gather evidence and all that good stuff, instead of relying on a coerced confession.

The far Reich-wing fanatics seem to have found a new ally in their effort to demonize anyone darker than Edgar Winter.

Part II - The Watch List and the Second Amendment

Now this one is just too bizarre to believe, yet it is really happening. The NRA's Congressional butt-kissers are fighting a proposal to ban folks on the terrorism watch list from buying firearms. Yup, Lindsey Graham and his gun-nut lunatic friends want to ensure that even though the United States demonizes anyone darker than Edgar Winter (see above), those Allah-lovin' terrists will still be able to pack heat.

And they claim to "love America..."

Part III - Palin & Co

Good God, is this woman still around? Why hasn't she been indicted?!?

And I just LOVE the way Bristol -- who is only 19 years old -- was spotted in a bar after giving one of her patented "let's all be nice and moral now, shall we?" speeches. Even the flippin' Free Republic(!) was annoyed.

I wish the Wasilla Hillbillies would go the hell away.

Part IV - "Family Values" and MC Steele*

Lordy, Lordy, where to start? Yet another "Family Values" Rethuglican has been busted with his boytoy, in this case George Alan Rekers. Rekers, a Baptist minister and anti-gay activist, got caught with a professional rentboy who touts his " 'smooth, sweet, tight ass' and 'perfectly built 8 inch cock (uncut)' and explains he is 'sensual,' 'wild,' and 'up for anything' — as long you ask first. And as long as you pay.' as the Miami New Times put it.

And Mikey Steele asked the party of fiscal responsibility to get him a private plane, like the rest of the rich kids, before he got caught splurging (and perhaps splooging) at a lesbian B&D club.

Part V - Arizona Wants Me...

...but only if I'm white. The great State of Arizona, the state where Sheriff Joe Arpaio houses inmates in a "tent city" and issues pink underwear, has a new law, allowing the Arizona Schutzstaffel (or ASS) and the Redneck Gestapo to stop anyone darker than Edgar Winter to verify that such "messican bandito" is in the country legally. Now, you just know that only the brown/black/red crowd will be stopped under the provisions of this law since, as one blogger pointed out, there aren't many illegal Canadian or Polish nationals in or around Phoenix.

And what about McCain's adopted daughter Bridget? How many times is she gonna get stopped before Daddy pitches a fit?

SAN ANTONIO—A former Sunday school teacher was arrested on charges of distributing harmful material to a minor after the parents of a 14-year-old boy found a topless photo of her on his cell phone.

Victoria Ann Chacon, 27, also a former middle school teacher, allegedly met the boy at their church, where she was teaching Sunday school.

You know, the more we read about the "family values" crowd, the more obvious it becomes that they have NO concept what family values really are.

What a bunch of low-life trailer trash.

"Family-Values" Republican Busted - Part 56,840

Vito Fossella is the Republican Congressman from New York City's Staten Island. As is the case with most "family values" Republicans, Fossella supported the Marriage Protection Amendment (which allows discrimination against gays; personally, I go along with Lenny Briscoe: "Of course gays should marry, why shouldn't they be miserable like the rest of us?"). He also supports posting the Ten Commandments (including the one that condemns adultery).

And like so many other "family values" Republicans, Fossella got busted. In Don Vito's case, he got bagged for drunk driving down in Virginia. He blew twice the legal limit. He told cops he was going to visit his daughter.

One small problem:

The daughter wasn't one of the three kids he had with his wife. This daughter was by his mistress. Oh, and he lied to his wife about his mistress.

Gotta LOVE them "family values" Republicans!
